Waimea joins TimberSmart
October 2006
We have been considering Timbersmart for some time and made the decision to proceed with the install mid year 2006 and committed to a 1 October 2006 cutover. It was short lead in and quite a significant change for our organisation but we found the Timbersmart team well prepared and assisted us through the lead up and implementation weekend. This cutover weekend went very smoothly with Timbersmart staff on site and we where able to run without any major disruptions to our business come Monday morning. The team from Timbersmart understand timber and we have found them very good to work with. Post implementation they have responded well to our questions and queries and we are looking and making further enhancements to our base system. Features like TimberXchange I can see as having a large part to play in the future of ordering and invoicing within our organisation.
