TimberSmart has dedicated support staff available to respond to your support needs during normal business hours. Small issues are generally attended to at the time the call is made. More complex issues are prioritized and scheduled according to the priority.

Site Audits

Site audits are useful for existing customers to address how the system might be better used to meet the requirements of the business. Our experience suggests that at the time of initial implementation, the emphasis is on training to get the system “up and running” in the minimum time. However, there can be considerable benefit in a later audit of the site, to evaluate how the system is being used, and determine how it can be better used to ensure that the business obtains maximum value from the investment.

TimberSmart training

Staff change over a period of time, some staff leave the business, other staff move within the business. Bringing new staff up to the required skill level to operate the TimberSmart inventory system is best achieved via TimberSmart trainers coming onto site and training in the specific way that the system is used on that site.

TimberSmart Refresher

Staff change over a period of time, those who stay can almost always benefit from a refresher course in using the TimberSmart inventory management system. TimberSmart offers periodic refresher courses.

Excel Training

Microsoft Excel is used extensively as a reporting and analytical tool in conjunction with the TimberSmart Inventory management system. TimberSmart run specialist training courses on how Excel can be linked to TimberSmart and used to create customized reporting.

Project Management

Using the TimberSmart project management methodology, TimberSmart Ltd has staff experienced in the timber industry who are able to plan, schedule, resource, and manage your IT projects.

Database reporting

Perhaps your existing database does not yield the type of information you require. TimberSmart has staff who specialise in the use of reporting tools to source information from your database, and present it in a form which meets your requirements.

Custom development

TimberSmart staff are also available to undertake custom development of any specific functionality you might require. Our staff are specifically skilled in the use of Microsoft products.
