RFID(radio requency identification) technology dates back to the second world war. yet only in today's world do we see the use of RFID in everyday products. more and more businesses owners are implementing the technology in their business, why is that?

The answer could be the fact that the price of RFID equipment/tags have been falling steadily for the last few years and are predicted to keep falling as their popularity gains. Companies also see the implementation of RFID as an investment and not a cost as over time the system will pay for itself through the open ended possibilities of return for your business.

how can RFID benefit your business?

the benefit of using RFID technology is explained by (Insight Works, 2016) "It helps retailers, manufacturers and even health care providers keep better track of what needs to be done, what materials or products are on hand, and how efficiently time and resources are being managed over any amount of time. For instance, scanning an RFID tag or barcode can improve a physical inventory count both by helping it take far less time, and by helping workers to avoid any potential entry errors."

this potentially streamlines operations in any kind of business by supplying the executives with real time information that is accurate at any moment.
